【学术报告】Gravitational-Wave Cosmology with DECi-hertz Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (DECIGO)

It has been a half-decade since the first direct detection of gravitational waves, which signifies the coming of the era of the gravitational-wave astronomy and gravitational-wave cosmology. The increasing number of the detected gravitational-wave events has revealed the promising capability of constraining various aspects of cosmology. Interestingly, like the strong gravitational lensing of optical signals, GW lensing attracted many interests in the last decade. Though currently, we have not yet found any sufficient evidence for the GW lensing signal from the released LIGO data , the development of the methodology of applying GW lensing to cosmology still deserves many studies. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction of our recent works based on the DECi-hertz Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (DECIGO)- a future Japanese space gravitational-wave antenna, focusing on the GW strong lensing and its extensive applications in cosmology, fundamental physics and astrophysics.


主讲人介绍:

曹硕,北京师范大学天文系教授,北京师范大学天文与天体物理前沿所双聘研究员,博士生导师。研究方向为:宇宙学与引力波天体物理。2013年在北京师范大学天文系获得天体物理博士学位,意大利那不勒斯费德里克二世大学联合培养博士,欧盟ERASMUS高级访问学者。在SCPMA Review、ApJ Supplements、ApJ (Letters)、MNRAS (Letters)、A&A (Letters)等国际顶级期刊发表SCI论文112篇(第一作者/通讯作者94篇),文章被引用次数3200余篇次,连续三年入选爱思唯尔中国高被引学者(2021-2023)。获得2012年教育部学术新人奖、2015年全国百优博士后、2018年教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖、 2022年彭年杰出青年教师奖。2017年入选北京市优秀人才计划,2020年入选国家自然基金委创新群体。
